Braathens Regional offers wet-lease/ACMI operations using aircraft types SAAB 340, SAAB 2000 and ATR 42/72. We provide high standards of operation, and flexibility is one of our core values.
Our mission is to present airlines in Europe with a flexible, strategic tool, performing cost efficient and reliable operations with regional aircraft. Our focus is operations to and from Scandinavia. Braathens Regional's ambition is to become the leading Wet lease/ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) airline in Northern Europe.
Braathens Regional has operated close to 30 routes in Europe, providing capacity for airlines such as SAS, Sverigeflyg and Blue1.
The cornerstones of our success are experience, professionalism and an ability to set up operations with short lead times, to the maximum of customer satisfaction.
Braathens Regional is currently an operating carrier for SAS, Malmö Aviation and Sverigeflyg. Braathens Regional also performs charter operations within Europe. The company fleet consists of 5 ATR 42/72, 11 SAAB 2000 and 1 SAAB 340. Today, Braathens Regional employs approximately 250 employees, with 8 bases in the Nordic region. The turnover in 2011 was approximately 55 MEUR.
